Unfortunately, due to health issues, Nobuo Uematsu had to cancel all public appearances and ongoing work, including his European tour with the EARTHBOUND PAPAS. So, the concerts of November 29th in London (Islington Assembly Hall), 1st December in Paris (Le Trianon) and 4th December in Berlin (Admiralspalast Studio) are now, regretfully, cancelled.

La Fée Sauvage will celebrates its 6 years of existence and more than 100 concerts around the world, the opportunity to find on stage the one with whom everything started in 2012: Nobuo Uematsu! As always a rich program of his compositions for FINAL FANTASY, and for the first time in Europe not only instrumental thanks to the singer Akiko Kawano who joins the band to interpret certain hits of the composer as “Eyes on Me” (FINAL FANTASY VIII) or “Melodies of Life” (FINAL FANTASY IX) or the Terra Battle Main Theme of which she is the original performer. An anniversary concert and event for all the faithful of the composer and the Wild Fairy!

The concerts of Nobuo Uematsu / EARTHBOUND PAPAS are the only ones where the composer plays on stage, leading the group, being his heart project that he leads with force, and on which he is accompanied by his friends and composers of video game music : Tsutomu Narita (Granblue Fantasy), Yoshitaka Hirota (Shadow Hearts), Michio Okamiya (Anata wo Yurusanai, Lord of Vermillion), and Chihiro Fujioka (Burai, Mario and Luigi, Super Mario RPG). In addition to the return to Paris, this tour will mark the band’s first concerts in London and Berlin! Do not miss the return of Nobuo Uematsu in EUROPE!

Nobuo Uematsu is one of the most celebrated composers in the video game field. He has achieved global recognition for his work on the FINAL FANTASY series that has been performed by world-class orchestras around the world. Nobuo Uematsu has been recognized as a major contributor in the increasing appreciation and awareness of video game music. A prime example is the “FINAL FANTASY VIII” theme song, “Eyes on Me,” composed and produced by him. His song featured Hong Kong pop star Faye Wong and sold a record 400,000 copies.  It also won “Song of the Year (Western Music)” at the 14th Annual Japan Gold Disc Awards in 1999, which was the first time in history that music from a video game had attained this illustrious honor. The music from the game series has grown to such notoriety, Nobuo Uematsu was named as one of the “Innovators” in Time Magazine’s “Time 100:  the Next Wave Music “ feature.
